Probably, like you, I didn't go into business to "market" or "sell" stuff to people.
Just the opposite, I actually ran away from working in a family business in New York City because I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I wanted to do what I was passionate about and created lasting change in the world.
Marketing was a bad word to me. Who likes being marketed to... marketed at... marketed by... ??
But, I learned... those of us who really do have valuable that makes a difference in people's lives...
1. Know exactly what we have to offer.
3. Know what we do will help THEM....
Doing these 1o things can move your market from "YUK!" to "SURE." (at least has that potential!) Methods to Market if You Hate "Marketing"
If you don't, won't or wouldn't in a heartbeat, it may be you're marketing the wrong thing.
If you don't hire coaches.. don't market coaching.
If you don't buy insurance. Don't market insurance.
If you don't attend conferences, don't market conferences...
But, I LOVE helping others thrive. By including them in a network of others seeking to do the same thing, it's a huge win for all.
What if there was a tribe that YOU HELPED CREATE that thrived and succeeded because you helped them and included them?
We start to realize we're most passionate about helping a certain kind of person meet a certain kind of need.
Who's your ideal client?
How old are they?
Male or female?
Where do they live?
What do they care about?
What do they need?
What keeps them awake at night?
I now have a name and picture of my two ideal client. One's a guy. Anther's a woman. I realize they both seek to "make a living making a difference." Their authentic faith and love for people typically inspires their desire to make a meaningful difference in and through their work. And they want to make a good living doing it. (often to support their family) They both need regular
1. Companionship: Others in their tribe on the same journey so they are not alone and not crazy.
2. Encouragement: Inspiration that empowers them to know THEY CAN DO THIS!
3. Tangible Steps to know what to do next to act on what it takes to succeed.
Are you in my tribe??
Who of us hasn't asked, "If I give too much, will I be taken advantage of? Will I lose? Do nice girls finish last?"

So figure out what they really need/want/care about and give it to them for free!
what you do best
what your values are
what makes you unique in the marketplace
what culture do you communicate
what pictures or metaphors describe you
Maybe choose about 3 of these as your focus. (the ones you enjoy!)
Sure, you can learn and become better .... but not at all of them!
But we do buy from those who add value to our lives and know about and care about our needs.
