I was recently reminded of the importance of words in my own description of my dream. Words matter. They matter alot!
Importantly dream confidence impacts dream fulfillment and the words we utilize can create the difference. For example: Do you ever find yourself saying "IF" when it comes to your dream? Or do you confidently use the word "WHEN?" One communicates subtle doubt, uncertainty and a lack of belief that you have what it takes... possibly even that God has what it takes to create the dream scenario. The other trusts that you've been given the dream for a purpose and that it's just a matter of time.
"IFing" involves saying things like...
"IF we get people interested..."
"IF we get the money...."
"IF you come on board with us."
"IF I lose the weight."
"IF I complete the book."
"IF I make more money."
"IF the organization grows"
"IF people show up."
"IF our marriage gets better."
"IF my kids succeed."
"IF we turn this company around."
"IF we defeat Goliath.
The subtle change to "WHEN" creates a whole different environment both in you and through you.
"WHEN people get interested..."
"WHEN we get the money...."
"WHEN you come on board with us."
"WHEN I lose the weight."
"WHEN I complete the book."
"WHEN I make more money."
"WHEN the organization grows"
"WHEN people show up."
"WHEN our marriage gets better."
"WHEN my kids succeed."
"WHEN we turn this company around."
"WHEN we defeat Goliath."
