I have studied the Bible seriously for over three decades but every once in a while a new insight blows me away! I get to see the Bible's relevant application to something that felt basically inapplicable. And unexplainable!
For example... in the beginning of the book of Ezekiel, Ezekiel himself looks into a windstorm and sees an image of God. Here's what appears before him:
"As for the form of their faces, each had the face of a man; all four had the face of a lion on the right and the face of an ox on the left, and all four had the face of an eagle." (Ezekiel 1:10)What? Faces? Lion? Man? Bull? Ox? Eagle? These same four images then repeat in other parts of the Bible as well! Does that seem strange to anyone else? What does this mean?
Yet, in the past few weeks I have come to see that these four "faces" may actually represent elements of
Who God REALLY is... (what He's like )
How God leads
How we might authentically be fully us AND lead more like us.
